Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 19, 2016 Baton Rouge native and Southern University graduate Avery D. Wilson on Tuesday was crowned Mr. United States 2016 at the annual pageant in New York. Wilson competed as Mr. Louisiana against 19 contestants from throughout the nation. Wilson is a consultant specializing in the spiritual and physical growth of individuals through creative expressions. He competed in such categories as social media/platform, runway, swimwear, formal wear and interview.
