Lincoln University Day at the Capitol
|
Posted By: Hija Chang on February 07, 2017 Lincoln University Day at the Capitol (LUDAC) will be held February 8, 2017, at the Missouri State Capitol. Exhibits will open in the Third Floor Capitol Rotunda at 9:00 a.m. LUDAC is a daylong activity that will allow Lincoln University to showcase the great things happening at Lincoln University with our students, partnerships, programs and research, particularly those in the Cooperative Extension and Research areas. While the main purpose of the day is to garner legislative support for our land-grant funding match, this is also a wonderful opportunity to introduce or reacquaint Lincoln University with lawmakers and visitors to the Capitol. Please plan to join us as we visit the Missouri Senate and Missouri House chambers and offices. With united voices, we can be heard. Whether exhibiting, speaking or just showing your support through attendance, we hope you can join the Lincoln University community in an effort to remind our Missouri Legislature to support our 1890s land-grant institution. Pre-day Information Consultants Information Consultants – information consultants are members of the LUDAC committee who have been very intimately involved in the details of planning the event and therefore should be able to answer a majority of the questions.
