Microsoft Hosts Recruiting Event with HBCU CONNECT

The key focus of the DPG team is to drive key strategic growth initiatives for Microsoft Experiences + Devices. The DPG team is made up of 6 units: Employee Experience – designed to empower people and teams in the flow of work, E+D Strategy – Identify and develop actionable growth plans, Growth + Experience – to support Microsoft 365 customers with deployment, usage, and innovation, IDEAs – to grow usage and revenue by providing high quality data, and Taos – to steward the vision and architecture allowing customers and users to get the most out of Microsoft. At the virtual event, attendees heard from leaders in the field, including: • Janet Peterson – VP Engineering, Viva Employee Experience • Gerardo Bodegas Martinez – Principal Engineering Manager, Data Platform and Growth • Rekha Nanda – Group Engineering Manager, IDEAs Programmability and Growth • Quentin Mackey – Group Program Manager, Employee Experience Cloud • Cezar Guimaraes – Principal SWE Manager, Content Platform 89 career candidates, including Latinx attendees, were able to get insight on this section of Microsoft as they strived to emphasize this division of Microsoft has a culture where everyone feels safe, valued and included.
