Incarcerated Mothers Matter seeks to help nurture and restore the maternal bonds between mother and child, while encouraging reunification for the incarcerated by connecting them with outside services.



About the CEO:

Daphne Patterson is a consultant for Second Chance for Real and Top Flight Evaluation. She assists incarcerated individuals and their families in obtaining help with evaluating their cases for the First Step Act and clemency. She is also a Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Master Reiki Healer with over 25 years in the healthcare industry.

She has several projects on the horizon including her first published book titled,

“Your Mood, God’s Food, Let’s Eat,” and her non-for-profit organization, Incarcerated Mothers Matter, that will help families be informed and provide resources for incarcerated family members.

She believes that With God All Things Are Possible. Philippians 4:13.
