AMEX Partners with HBCU CONNECT To Host Successful Diversity Recruitment Event for Black Professionals!

Posted By: Will Moss on July 20, 2022 On Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, American Express (AMEX) partnered with HBCU CONNECT to host a very successful diversity recruitment event that exceeded attendance exptectations by double. AMEX was looking to hire more black professionals and established a partnership with HBCU CONNECT, the largest professional network for HBCU Students, Graduates and Black Professionals. Here are a few highlights from the event: 1. There was a goal of 50 candidates but HBCU CONNECT delivered a guest list of over 325 resumes from interested candidates, 216 confirms and a max concurrent of 109 attendees on the call. 2. We had lots of great questions from candidates in the chat and breakout rooms. 3. We had a great keynote from Omar and an awesome panel from Narrio, Edymari, Marmeline and Mario! 4. The folks at American Express did a great job bringing the event together with us once again.
