Posted By: Kennedy Williams on September 20, 2022 With more than 1,100 students on the campus of Florida Memorial University for the new academic year, FMU is pleased to announce it has exceeded its 2022-2023 enrollment goal. In addition, FMU welcomes the Class of 2026, the largest freshman class for the university in 15 years. “To bounce back from a global pandemic and exceed our enrollment goal is astounding, and to say I am proud is an understatement,” said Dr. Jaffus Hardrick, FMU President. “This is the result of a focused, concerted effort by our stellar Enrollment Management team, utilizing best practices and improved systems. We must also thank our Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to FMU’s mission.” The enrollment figures translated to a 306% increase in enrollment commitments for Fall 2022, compared to 2021, and firmly puts FMU in a position of great promise. This allows the university to continue offering programs in high demand fields that set its students on successful career tracks, as well as maintain a beautiful, tech-forward, welcoming campus that is the vibrant hub of student life. Having formed strong partnerships with renowned corporations, organizations, and private philanthropists, FMU is well on its way to becoming a major presence in the local and global community and continues ascending to excellence.
