Posted By: S. Moore on February 21, 2023 JP Morgan Chase teamed with HBCU CONNECT to offer a Virtual Hiring Event on February 15th, with the purpose of connecting HBCU graduates with employment opportunities at JPMorgan Chase. These virtual recruitment events are a great way for job seekers to connect with companies and for employers to widen their talent pool and foster diversity and inclusion. While the event was originally intended for 30 candidates, we ended up with a guest list of over 473 interested prospects, 218 people who attended our ZOOM event, and over 105 callers eager to begin a career with JPMorgan Chase. Guests not only learned about the incredible career opportunities at JPMorgan Chase, but they also got to learn more about several key team members through our panel discussion and receive answers to questions through the chat and on our moderated Live Q&A. Anita, Melissa, Rudy, and Ian, the panelists, did an outstanding job, they were kind, helpful, and eager to help students and professionals alike, exemplifying the JPMorgan Chase business culture. Following the event, one attendee said, “Thank you for the meeting! It was inspiring and super informational. I'm going to apply for a marketing role. Chase seems like such a great company to work for.” A huge thank you to everyone who attended this virtual event and to JPMorgan Chase for partnering up with us to host it!
