Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on October 01, 2025 Coppin State University congratulates our students on earning 2nd place in the Policython – An AI Policy Challenge, hosted by Microsoft’s Black at Microsoft – DMV Chapter during Congressional Black Caucus Week 2025. Team members: Anderson Haywood (Data Science), Kaylen Carroll (Marketing/Business), Karis Joyner (Political Science) and Samuel Adekoya (Management) competed against their peers from the University of Delaware and Howard University. The team rose to the challenge and demonstrated excellence in crafting innovative policy solutions at the intersection of technology, equity, and public policy. This outstanding experience allowed our students to engage in real-world policy debates, build networks with professionals across technology and government, and showcase Coppin’s commitment to preparing future leaders.
