Posted By: Jennifer Toone Corrigan on October 29, 2025 SodexoMagic played a central role in Grambling State University’s Homecoming Week, supporting events across campus and engaging directly with students, alumni, and the wider community. Partnering with Black Coffee Company, students and guests enjoyed a pop-up outside McCall Dining Center featuring a range of coffee options and meaningful conversation. On Thursday, SodexoMagic representatives participated in the career fair, speaking with students about internships and on-campus job opportunities. The company’s president, Charles Johnson, also attended the Distinguished 10 event, recognizing leadership and academic excellence within the Grambling community. Throughout the week, SodexoMagic’s marketing team conducted customer satisfaction surveys in an interactive format that included giveaways to encourage participation. The effort showcased refreshed atmospheres across dining locations, new design for concessions, launch of the Student Culinary Council, award-winning customer service training, expanded international menus, and updated offerings at Tiger Express. SodexoMagic managed concessions at the homecoming football game using new Mashgin technology for faster checkout and supported several catered events throughout the week. Union Parish Elementary students were also welcomed for lunch at McCall Dining Center, offering them firsthand experience of campus dining. The SodexoMagic team executed Beyond Breakfast Experience alumni event at McCall Dining Center, ensuring all ran smoothly. Separately, the team promoted a visit from Global Chef Bobby Krishnan of Singapore, who featured authentic international dishes on campus during the week. The SodexoMagic team’s work during Homecoming Week showed what partnership looks like in practice — being visible, accessible, and fully engaged in the life of the university.
