My point exactly. We as humans WANT to believe in an higher power, a God who is beyond man and our limitations. A God who walked among men would not seem as 1) omnipresent, nor 2) omnipotent, because he'd be TOO much like us. That's why I think our faith would diminish.

true...but faith is not just limited to something so abstract. People utilize faith everyday and don't even know it. U use faith when u cross the street and believe that you'll make it to the other side safely. You use faith when develop relationships and friendships, believing that you're getting involved with someone who will have your back. It isn't just about seeing/knowing a God. It's about believing in something that u can't really grasp at the moment, but genuinely hope is going to come to past. So if we're talking about faith in the literal sense...yes it can still be possessed with a Jesus/God that we see from day to day (even an atheist had "faith" whether he knows it or not). As far as having faith in the power of Jesus. Biblicly speaking, u can still have faith in the power of Jesus even if he was a living and breathing being. In the new testament, Jesus had many followers because of the miracles and wonders that he performed. So being a man of the flesh just made his power seem that much more miraculous

But still yet the Jews don't think the Messiah ever came to earth. Didn't Jesus perform his miracles in Palestine/Israel?

If we could see Him every day I still think we would need faith because we still would have to believe that it was Him performing miracles, na mean? We would have to have faith that it was through His touch that we were healed instead of thinkin, maybe it just happened....I dont know, it makes sense in my head...we would need faith in his power instead of believing that everything was random and coincidental.

So if anyone came up and did miracles or performed "magic" you would automatically have faith in him/her as well? Mankind's nature is to bestow divinity upon their god-figures. A normal person walking around would not inspire the faith or spirit that belief in a higher power would. Even with the power to do miracles, the second someone else came around that could do miracles, your faith would waver in the first person. And by the time the third and fourth person comes around, their will be five major religions based on the teachings of those different prophets/magicians/rabbis.

I'm not saying that EVERYONE would believe in Jesus Christ. Becuz everyone doesn't believe in Jesus Christ right now, so there are bound to be nonbelievers if he was around in the flesh. But i still believe that he would have followers. People want someone/something to put their trust in.
