Would it worK in this day in age?

I was just thinKing about something and wondering would it worK or still be remotely the same as it was when it began. In the song, dude asKs "Why did Malcolm's mission die with the man?" Which was a very interesting question... and that's when I was liKe what if in 2004 it was still going strong? And people were more conscious and actually paid attention to the little things. Then I was thinKing... What if the BlacK Panthers were still going strong? How would that go being that we have so many youth that don't understand what it is to be apart of something so serious? But how do you thinK things would be?

First of all if Malcolm's mission was still well in tact and going strong I don't think we'd have as many black faces locked behind penitentiary walls and we wouldn't have as many children running around here imitating video hoes. Then again, it makes me wonder would we even have video hoes? Probably not. I think we would've been better off right now than we are actually are. I don't think we would've been as militant as most people probably would think, because as Malcolm was beginning to see things from different perspectives before he died. If his mission would have progressed along with Martin's mission, I believe eventually they would have begun to coincide with each other. This would have led to a black race of such greatness that most, today, wouldn't even be able to comprehend. Now if the Black Panthers were still running things today, I don't know where we would be. There's a possibility that we could've been better off. Then again, there's a possibility that we could've fought the second civil war. That's just too close to call, because you had the leaders in the mission who were true to the cause and then you had those who had alterior motives. This one I just don't know.
