yes i said it, agree or disagree....we as a people, meaning african americans....no scratch that, africans of the african diaspora are the most highly civilized creatures EVEN TODAY....why you may ask??...well ask yourself how long did it take white americans to make ameriKKKa how it is today?? welp actually america was not considered a major global POWER until really world war 1 and 2, basically as my grandmother put it " america is only a child compared to how long it has had its global respect and power"....suprising to you, or not, its true.....so considering it took american whites about oooo 500 years to get recognized and to become strong...i say thats a pretty long time...now take african americans...we were taken from our homeland, made slaves, and then after freedom, we had economic and political struggles due to the fact that whites did not want to compensate us for our labor which still exist today AND SO THEREFORE forced us to sharecrop and and so began our struggle towards equality, over the past 100 or so years. we have made such technological, social, economic, artistic, educational gains from being slaves that virtually even though we still are struggling we have surpassed the rate at which our white counterparts developed when they first arrived on plymouth rock.....even though they may seem small, and white america may try to downplay our gains, it has been major gains...even most major historians will agree...though sometimes unwillingly...so i just wanted to say from all the negativity about blacks on this site...welp just know historically we are a very special race and though im not saying we should stop improving, HELL NO, but what i am saying is that for a race to rise up from being considered absolutely nothing and rise up too such a degree of power now AT SUCH a fast pace is historically almost IMPOSSIBLE and that is a great and wonderful thing to break the virtually impossible, and as a people we have always moved up, never down....and as we rise through social classes, from poor to middle class, to the 9 figures and up lol....we need to be thankful we even rose up this fast, because many past civilizations who have been so disenfranchised from their former owners have not been so lucky

Considering what we've gone through and where we are, we have made great accomplishments.
We have been invaded, captured, and enslaved throughout history by many nations, and each time, we have survived to infiltrate their culture and achieve positions of great power. If you don't believe the influence we hold, imagine if tomorrow, John Kerry made a derogatory comment about Blacks. One of the most wealthy and influential political figures of the day (and most likely our future president) would be practically tarred and feathered because of our immense political clout.
Even in America and throughout the world, despite being a relatively small population, our culture is dominant. People worldwide listen to our music, wear our style of clothing, adopt our patterns of behavior, etc.
No others can claim to have made this type of progress from adversity, except the Jews, and for them it took thousands of years. So are we the new Jews?
