STUPID fads in UR Hood

In the chi (chicago, IL to be specific) right now, all people (females in particular) are wearin are boxing boots, the color pink, fur coats, and fishnets. Last year it was bowling shoes and pea coats. When I visiited D.C. I noticed all the guys wearin long-*** tshirts and oversized fitted caps (that stuff aint cute). All i know is I am so sick and tired of pink Im bout to throw up. What fads and styles are out right now runnin your area? Which ones do u wish would hurry up and fade away?

right now in my town everybody is wearing mainly black and pink anything and whatever color Chuck Taylors they can get there hands on. Plus just about everybody has the same Jordans on. The other day I counted 11 people with the same Jordans. Crazy people! Clones I tell you! RUNNNNNNN!!!!!! Eek

DC/PG County Maryland, and Baltimore have totally different styles from each other. DC guys wear tight-fitting clothes, BMore guys wear big clothes. DC girls wear tight-fitting jeans as well as high boots. Right now, girls are wearing HEELS...which is real cool, heels with jeans, heels with skirts. Guys are dressing up a little more too. At Hampton, most people are dressed on the regular no matter where they're from.

Well I was actually in College Park, so there may have been people from Bmore there that I saw... In the chi it is imperative to keep ur gym shoes clean, but I noticed basically anywhere south of St. Louis clean gym shoes is not important at all (i.e. Memphis, Nashville, Florida, and other places). People here even stick their jeans in their socks to keep the denim of their jeans from staining their gym shoes. The sad thing is I can't even talk to a dude if his gym shoes look raggedy! lol

Y'all both took the words out of my mouth....maybe he was on HU's campus...but that's not what the city wears....but most of the students do

I heard that....when I'm checking out a guy...first I look at the shoes...then the face...then teh teeth...then teh outfit...always in that order
