TENNESSE STATE UNIVERSITY

I am considering going to TSU. I was wondering, from a studen's point of view, how the school is as far as social/dorm life. When I look at the college's website, it looks more like a school for age 25+,although ther eis no such thing. I mean, I want to go to a school where I will get an excellent education, but at the same time, all work no play makes for a dull life,right? Fill me in y'all. Thank u.

AYo...from on fellow TSU aspirant to another...TSU is far from the 25+ crowd. I've done my research. The TSU campus is off tha hook. The parties are off tha hook and the education from the stand point of certain students are great. Plus you are in a descent town with anotha HBCU right up the street. (FISK) and if that ain't ya thang Alabama A & M is about and hour down the road and my informant there says they gets real krunk that way! But if you really wanna know more...get on collegeclub and look at the peeps online and ask them.

AWW FOR REAL? Thank U. LOL. I knew they had an excellent academic program, but I also wanted to know its social atmosphere. With Alabama A and M being basically down the street, sounds like YSU is gonna b CRUNK

TSU is off da chain shawty you will like it you should come visit. In nashville we kind of have a AUC of our own with Fisk and Vanderbilt, we all kick it party together and etc.. you should come visit it stay crunk and the education aint bad either

TENNESSEE STATE IS A GOOD HBCU COLLEGE. I AM FROM NASHVILLE AND I LIVE 30 MINUTES FROM THE UNIVERSITY. IT HAS THE BEST HOMECOMINGS AND SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE ATTEND. ALTHOUGH, IT MIGHT HAVE IT'S DOWN FALLS, BUT EVERY COLLEGE DOES. IT IS A PARTY SCHOOL AND A CONSTANT FASHION SHOW, BUT IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BOOKS INSTEAD OF WHAT THE NEXT PERSON IS WEARING YOU'LL DO FINE. AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF CUTIES THERE!

Yes TSU from what I hear is off tha hook! I haven't been to visit yet, but someone told me that they have their own movie theaters, bowling alleys, and it's just a cool school period...I heard the food is mediocre (but then again that's most HBCU's) but thaz MY FUTURE SCHOOL! I haven't heard anything bad yet about that school!

TSU IS DEFINITELY OFF THE CHAIN, THIS IS MY SECOND SEMESTER HERE AND I LOVE IT! YOU WILL HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE! GO BIG BLUE!

YEAH I HEARD THEY HAVE A NICE SCHOOL AND THE GIRLS DORMS HAVE HAIR SALONS IN THEM.

It is my understanding that in the girl's dorms there's hair salon equipment, such as a blow dryer (the kind you sit under) and so forth, but I have not seen them, just what someone told me.
