YOU CAN'T DO THAT CAUSE YOU AIN'T GREEK *DISCLAIMER: This entry is in NO way referring to any specific person or incident or organization in ANY way, form or fashion. Ummm, sorry to tell you young lady/man you aint either honey. You are just an African American in some greek letters. Now, don't take offense to this I am just trying to call it as I see it. This is not said directly to me but I hear this alot from different orgs towards alot of people. "Only greeks, Non-greeks not allowed" Hmph! I don't know why you are there then. You ain't greek. You are an African American in Greek Letters. :smh: Hmph! what is really going on in this world. Now, there is NOTHING wrong with being in a Fraternity or Sorority. Why not say, you are not part of a Greek Lettered Org, or you are not Frat or Soror or something of the such. Why are you bothered by the fact that members of Greek Letter Organizations are known as "Greek"? Why does it bother you that someone would prefer that someone who is not a duly affiliated member to not do something that may be indicative of "Greek", as in Letter Organizations, Culture?

I don't have a problem with not doing something that they can do because they are in a Frat or Sorority. The thing I don't get is when did they become "Greek". I thought they were African Americans who happened to be in a Greek Lettered Org. Do you get what I am saying/asking/observing? Why can't you say something like "I'm proud to be in a Greek Lettered Organization or something" instead "I am proud to be Greek." You aren't GREEK. You are an African American in Greek Letters. If by chance I ever had the oppurtunity to become a member of a Greek Lettered Org, I don't believe that I would say that I am Greek, maybe a member of a Greek Org but I am not Greek. You feel me?

so if u a PART of a GREEK organization, how are u NOT "GreeK"............. isn't it too damn much to say oh "I am a Alpha Kappa Alpha, and I am african american, but in no way am I Greek" oh, NEXT
