I wanted to find out if this is true...so I'm asking.
If a organization you are interested in is uhh "paper", and you want to be apart of that org. If you make it into that org, you have your paper work in and everything can you "pledge" at another school so you won't have the "paper" name.
I'm asking this because the XYZ's on our yard just came back. They probated about a month and a half ago. A majority of the greeks were claiming that 22 of them were paper, yet 3 of them were "made".
I was chilling with one of my close guy friends and I stated how these 3 girls who are apart of XYZ tend to not be around their soro's a lot. When their soro's are all sitting together, those three are off to the side. Those 3 roll up to the party together, ect ect..
My friend told me that those once admitted here at my school into their org. got in contact w/ another XYZ from a school that is about 1hr and 30minutes away and they drove out there for however long to be "pledged in" to their organization....
I just wanted to know if this type of thing is true...and if so if you did pledge at another school, wouldnt u feel differently towards your soro's who did not go through the same process as you?

I know if the organization that you want to pledge isnt at your school, sometimes they let you join at the nearest school BUT you may have to take a class at that other school to do so. I understand what you are saying Ms. So, that kind of stuff happens but...well...it happens. Sad that things like that happen b/c it looks bad, like it's no sisterhood thru some of the members but hey?

If the sorority you want to join has a chapter on your campus no you cannot go elsewhere to pledge even if the chapter is paper. And if they are inactive you still cant go anywhere else to join because their inactivity doesnt excuse the fact that they still have a chapter. But if the sorority you want to join does have a chapter then you have to join the chapter at your school.
