What kind of business would you start? :!: Remember...you're starting this business to make more money than you spent.

Remember...just because you start a business doesn't mean that it has to be original. I was thinking of something along the lines of an electronic repair shop....where ANYTHING electronic can get fixed.

Yea, you dont have to be ORIGINAL to start a business but if you want to make the BIG bucks you better be original. Like if you wanted to open your own "LockSmith" business don't expect to make a lot of money because there are thousands of lock Smiths in a big city. but.. If you had an orginal business. People will be coming to you and only you.

Real estate. I am preparing myself to become a real estate investor as I speak. It is one of few businesses where demand will consistently rise. New markets are being created and reborn every day. It is profitable, because investing to build a home or refurbish an old one generates high return on your investment. The number of people living in any given place will continue to rise, while the amount of land will always remain the same. Therefore, its value will always increase, and people will always need a place to live. If you provide one, you will see a profit. If you provide one which is safe, clean, healthy, and popular, you will see a huge profit. Historically, three businesses have created permanent, lasting wealth: real estate, insurance, and banking. From a social aspect, real estate developers set the tone of a community. They establish the quality of new homes and determine who can afford to live there. In doing so, they generate the tax revenue which determines in part how good the local services and schools will be. They also attract the businesses which serve the community and create jobs for its residents. They create opportunities for growth, and for citizens to change their social status. A person's success is directly related to his environment. If a person grows up in an environment where crime is high, school quality is poor, and quality of life isn't good, there is a high probability that they will lead a similar lifestyle, and so will their children. The only way to turn around this type of community is to start building on its assets - potential businesses, homes, etc. which are going unused. Just more of my ranting about real estate... I can do this all day... 8) Holla!
