i have been accepted to Michigan state Clark Atlanta FAMU, TSU, and Pepperdine University. I have narrowed down my decision down to MSU and CAU. I really want to go to CAU but I have heard that the education is inadeqate and inferior to a school such as MSU and that i'd have better opportunities if i attended MSU rather than CAU..Can somebody give me some info on CAU.... I've heard many positive and negative things about the school, but can someone just fill me in on the academics aspect.

*wonderz since when did asking a perfectly good question that has nothing to do with *cough skegee* or anyone else who attends that school become a free post * It was a good question jamz, but for future refrence to avoid the whole " I'm going to say FREE post because I want to get my post count up", just try n find someone on here who attends the school, pm them and see if they can help you out. CAU CAU CAU CAU CAU CAU PRIDE .....fuccka 8)

From my experience, the quality of education is really good at CAU. I'm not complaining. But it depends on what u take in. Personally I don't think any college is inferior to another, it's just what u choose to learn. Some of the most successful people come out of CAU and all the other surrounding schools. Hope that helped!

No... I didn't reject pepperdine. I have narrowed it down to CAU or Pepperdine. I realize that Pepperdine has a better academic reputation than CAU and stuff, but I am also lookin at the total cost of both schools.. CAU would be around $22,000 and Pepperdine would be $33,000 a year.. And yes I have applied for scholarships and everything, but that is still a $10,000 differential. And I know stayin in state would be way cheaper, but I would prefer to go out of state. I have also been looking at location. I live near detroit and atlanta is only about 700 miles away compared to Malibu, which is like 2,300 miles away. So I am in "LIMBO" cause I need to make my decision by next week and i don't know which school i'm going to.

Honestly there is nothing like the Black College Experience...but if you are the kind of student who can excel at Pepperdine I say take it. Do disrespect to CAU..I love yall like a play cousin...but the academics are VERY different. Just my .05 Cents
