Okay, I wanna dance in college, and I'm tryin to condition myself, I've been a dancer for who knows how long, and I dance for my HS band, can some1 tell me what I need to condition myself for auditions. That would be a big help, thanx

Iam a freshmen at VSU and I watch the lovely ladies of troy and they work very hard at what the do .All you have to do is stay fit ,workhard , believe in yourself and I am sure you will be fine.

I am also interested in trying out for the dance corp in college. However I am interested in the Piperettes at Tuskegee University. Does anyone have any helpful information and tips to help me along in the process? Thanks Smile

Hello Everyone.... I attend Norfolk State University where the Spartan Legion Rocks the house always. !!!! I am a junior here at NSU so I've had a lot of time to watch and continuously learn about our wonderful band. Along with watching our band, I've been able to view others and compare. Our dancers for our band are named " HOT ICE". I am not trying to put no one else's school down, but from what I've seen in our conference (MEAC) we are the best. Our dancers just don't go out there shaking their a$$e$ , they go out there doing ballet, tap, jazz...everything. They are a very talented group of young ladies. Just to prepare you all its just like a sport. They have to practice when the band practices, they have private practice, they have weights, diets to uphold... it is not easy. but it is very rewarding. But BEST OF LUCK IN ALL OF YOUR ENDEAVEORS!!!!!!!

Well ova here at DSU...they have D'Elegance...and they do the same thing as NSU...wen it comes to practice and dance styles...they are good...n i kno for a fact they work they butts off too...
