My boy has a 2.053 gpa and he wants to transfer after next semester. Will a college give him any chances of being accepted with that gpa?

Hmm..doubt it..If he tryin to transfer he should definitely bring his gpa up alot more, cause its hard to transfer with a gpa that low.

I don't think he can transfer with that GPA. Most schools have a minimum GPA for transfer students...the lowest I have seen is a 2.5. But, maybe he should attempt to get in contact with someone in admissions, and maybe if he makes a good case they may let him in.

At most 4 year colleges you have to have at least a 2.5 gpa and 12 transferable credits...U learn this when your workstudy is in the Admissions office...lol... 8) ...

just 12 credits?....lol maybe @ Johnson C. Smith I dont know too many Colleges that just want "12" most want 24-30...if not...dub your high school grades on them
Well I guess so at Smith...Smith is a private school... so most of the classes you take will not count anyway if you come from a public school...with 12 credits you will be a freshman all over again....We do give kats a chance...It's all about if you can last after you get that chance.....
