hey, im a freshmen at spelman, so wat exactly do u want to know? I can tell u that spelman is slowwww when it comes to getting stuff done, so u should just prepare yourself. as far as the dorms, the lord blessed me with the situation of overcrowding so i was forced to stay in castleberry hills (nearby apartments) along with 40 other freshmen spelmanites. are resident director(yes we have one) told us that they worked out that problem so it will never happen again for a freshmen class-but hey it was a blessing. depending on ur major u could have a hard time with the work load. ...um i dont know wat else, just ask.

Jazzy808, you said in the Prospects forum that you recieved your letter in February, you didn't apply early action did you? Because I applied regular decision and if I could get that letter in February that would be excellent. Did any of ya'll go to "A Day in Your Life at Spelman" and if so, How was it?

yes i went to "A Day in Your Life" on Oct. 11th and it was T-riffic! We first had registration where we signed in and then the director of admissions gave us an overview of the kind of students that Spelman looks for. they also talked about the academics, student affairs, and then while the parents listened to a session on financial aid the students broke up into groups according to what major they were looking to pursue (liberal arts, health careers, science/engineering) and got info on that. then we all had lunch and afterwards listened to a student panel talk about Spelman and answer questions, and lastly we had a campus tour. it was pretty much the whole day, but i enjoyed every bit of it since Spelman is my first choice
. in case ur wondering, i looked over my program from "A Day in Your life" to answer your question caramelQT
