I just know that most Floridians have a hard time liking a song when they first hear it. This happens whenever a song is played the first time that becomes big a few months later. Y'all didn't like "Drop it like its hot" or "How we do" when y'all first first heard em in a club. sometimes it doesn't take people as long to hear it right away... just b/c you like a song (esp. w/ your West Coast bias) right away doesn't mean people don't like it right away... that's just how people... not Floridians in general are... b/c i can find many people in NC (charlotte and g-boro) that ain't feel those two songs when they first came out in the club... :roll:
