The death of Biggie, Tupac, Left Eye, Ray Charles, and many more had great impact on fans and other artists around the world. If someone were to die today, which artists would have a great impact on fans? I think that the death of L L Cool J would be greatly mourned, along with Eminem, Ice Cube, and of course Stevie Wonder. What do you guys think?

Tina Turner's death would be pretty sad but her legacy would be a great one. She arose from many trials and became a very powerful woman.

I am not a fan of Eminem but if he died I think he would be mourned by many people. He has so many fans that respect him and everything he says. I'm not sure how missed he will be among the black community, buy to "white america" he is the number one rapper and would be greatly missed.

Good question......probably Luther Vandross Aretha Franklin Micheal Jackson Janet Jackson Stevie Wonder All of those artists would be greatly missed if they passed on because they contributed to so much of what is music now....

I pretty much agree to what everyone else has said. But, believe it or not, I think Whitney Houston's death would have a great impact on fans, because I assume that millions of people still love her, and her music touched so many people's lives. So that's why I say Whitney Houston.

I think the people that have the largest impact on the most people. I can remember not really caring that Tupac died because I had never really listened to his music. It's not until he died that I started to see what his music was about beyond the East vs. West thing. I think that the artist that would cause the biggest stir if and when they die would be: 1. Stevie Wonder 2. 50 Cent 3. Eminem BTW, these are in no particular order. These artists are ones that people know and you don't see any of them doing "out of character" activities (like Whitney with the...ummm, crack)
