Love at first sight

What yall think about it? Can it happen, has it happened. Whats your take on it. I personally think it's "possible", but extremely rare. I think lust at first sight is what people usually confuse for love.

Yeah it's possible...but only every blue moon!!! And even if it does happen it could end up in disaster once you get to know that person!!!

But if it ends in disaster after u really get to know the person. Is that still considered love. Because if u really don't have some supernatural connection then wouldn't that just mean that it was lust, just a physical attraction?

Possible...but that would depend on what you deem as love at first sight... Ex. You see someone but never talk to them and you have this strong unexplainable feeling or connection to them You begin to talk to them and realize this person is nothing what you imagined!!! That's why love at first sight is rare...to me anyways!!!

^^^ That's what i'm saying. I just get tired of hearing people using that phrase over and over. And i just be thinking, would this person still be saying that if the person didn't even like you off the bat. The phrase just doesn't seem genuine at all to me, and it seems like everyone says it in their wedding etc.

I've been crazy about this one girl ever since I met her in 6th grade. I remember the first words I said to her and everything. I'm still crazy about her after all these years, and she's a special and significant person in my life.

I also agree with this to an extent, but I think that you can have that initial feeling that tells you that the person whom you're fond of may be someone special in your life in the future.
