Which college Howard or Spelman, is better, has the most fun , and is the most prestigous.If you go to these or know anything about these schools,please rep for it. AND DONT FREE POST MY STUFF, TRY AND GET SOME REAL KNOWLEDGE FOR ONCE.

Shoot I haven't even got down there yet and I can tell you Howard is the best school in the Nation! HU Bisons man up!!!!

You are gonna have to visit to make your own comparison. trust it will be better for you to decide urself. I loved the atmosphere and unity of the HU bisons and all that. They are good people. On the other hand when you go to Spelman it is like going to three colleges at the same time. If you like you can take courses at Clark or Morehouse (we call this cross-registering) while you attend Spelman. So now you get to go to a school with an Excellent background and get the best of all worlds. I dont wanna compare the HU parties to the AUC parties ( AUC = Atlanta University Center and it consists of clark, spelman, and morehouse). Because I only went to two HU parties but i have been a lot more than two AUC jumpoffs. Trust me. lol. Aight One

WELL I HAVE VISITED BOTH CAMPUSES ON A COLLEGE TOURS, BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY ONLY SHOWED US WHAT THEY WANTED US TO SEE. I LIKE BOTH COLLEGES ALMOST EQUALLY THATS WHY IM HAVING A HARD TIME DISCERNING WHICH IS BETTER. THAT IS WHY I POSTED THIS , JUST TO GET SOME REAL FEEDBACK!!!

:? There is no way you are going to get an unbiased answer with a question like that. Comparing these two schools is like comparing apples and oranges. Howar is a University, Seplman is a College. Howard has a large population while Spelman's student body is relatively small. Howard is in a northern city and Spelman is in a southern city (a HUGE difference . . . trust me). It just depends on what you want. Both are prestigous and receive great reviews. Howard and Spelman were the only two schools I applied to, so I was in a similar postion as yourself. Just make a list of what's important to you and pick the school which will best fit your needs.

To add to this it also depends on your major b/c although Spel. is ranked higher than HU, they don't have a lot of major's that you would think that they would have (I'll try to find my admission bk from last yr. 'PM' me later). Also when it comes down to getting $$ for your hard earned grades--let's just say HU is more appreciative. Oh yeah Spel's small (I think about 3000+ und.) but you have to realize there's MH & clark surrounding you...can't think of anything else @ this time but holla back ('PM') if u need anything else. :wink: **Also try to look up random students under HBCU listings that are & are not in your desired major and are in diff. classes, to get some diff. perspecs. from pep's who don't check the posts that often--that helped me a lot --in fact 1 girl I emld lst yr. is on the senior SGA brd @ Spel.-- make them connections b4 u get there :wink:
