lol man....that is my point exactly... it is so ridiculous... now that he and Tony Blair FINALLY addressed everyone about the issue (spewing more lies half-truths, of course)....the media is FINALLY trying to mention the situation.... but before that conference today....you didn't even HEAR about this except on the internet, mostly.... I heard about it some days ago via this a.m. talkshow radio host my mom loves 2 listen 2 everynight....who happens 2 really hate Bush as president, lol (& 99.9% of his airtime is dedicated to him telling everyone why and exactly how much, lol).... but yeah, man....ridiculous....

lol, i feel ya'll....but I think it's the principle of the sit-chee-aye-shun... I mean, damn....if Clinton can get impeached for lying about something that went on in his PERSONAL life (& yeah yeah yeah, I know it was on oath, but)... THIS MAN CAN BE IMPEACHED FOR LYING TO BILLIONS AND BILLIONS about things that REALLY Americans AND the rest of the world individually AND collectively :x :x :x but *ahem*....*regains composure*...anyway :-) my faith in Kerry pretty much dropped to zero.....when he conceded fast as hell, despite the wishes of his wife and John Edward.....and TOO EASILY let "that man" get that office back... esPECially when SO MANY people were behind him :x :x :x :x :x and i'm beginning to understand more and more why folks vote for Ralph Nader....i'm like, I'm not gonna just stop voting...because I feel I owe those before me more than that....BUT....since certain things are going to happen anyway....I might as well vote for someone I know who may really deserve the office.... and i damn sure knew it wasn't Bush....didn't know if it was Kerry...but figured it wasn't when he punked out as quickly as he did...the way he did :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x but anyway :grin: that's 4 a whole other post.... getting back to the topic at hand.....I just feel this should be brought to light.....whether Bush is ultimately removed from the office or not.... because I'm tired of him getting away with everything....and succeeding in having the wool over the eyes of so many in this country...and all over the world (but mostly this country...'cause other countries KNOW WHAT'S UP!).... HE SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE, DAMMIT :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on Election Day, 77% of Americans who voted for Bush thought Sadaam Hussein was behind 9/11 . . . . & 77% thought weapons of mass destruction in Iraq had been found . . . . . . . . i'd just like to know WHAT does that say about our government....WHAT does that say about our MEDIA....and most importantly...WHAT does that say about US... NOT good :x. but anyway :grin:

I'm starting to get this uncomfortable feeling that we as American's are in BIG trouble. I've always thought that this country's governmental future was bought and mapped out HUNDREDS of years ago, but i'm starting to become excrutiatingly disturbed about where we're headed. It's not the fact that our president had lied and people actually had the non-brains to believe him....but the fact that the media is afraid to do their jobs....for fear of their jobs, maybe? Or worse? Here's an exerpt for Tim Russert's 'Meet The Press', NBC's Sunday morning roundtable discussion show:

Moving on?? WTF? Are there anymore real journalists besides Bob Schieffer in this country? I'm starting to think that our beloved American media is being forced by this administration to keep them from looking like the bunch of dumb **** that they really are. If there is some truth to my suspicions, we are in grave danger. First, the government controls the media by forcing them to report more 'fluff' ****to keep the attention away from what needs to have attention brought to, Second, the public will be forced to do things against their own personal wills. We will all be forced to go to vote one way because of a flawed and rigged voting system, criminal punishment will become harsher for lighter crimes....we will become EXACTLY what Iraq was before Saddam was caught...and the possibility of all of this happening scares me to no end. God help us all.

preCISEly.... and "fluff" is RIGHT.... which brings me to...well, no offense by any means by saying what I'm about to say, but.... females....people, in general...young and old....Black, White, Hispanic - the whole nine.....all across the country....all across the WORLD....have forever been kidnapped and missing......happens ALL the time...EVERYday... so why exactly do certain "kidnapped/missing" cases become so media-prone?!?!?! I just don't get it... I mean, it ain't just the fact that it's always your typical "American pie" young White female....BUT....it's like....White females (among many, many others, like i said) are kidnapped and come up missing all the time... so why do they focus on the people they do??? they bring ALL this media attention to these cases....when there is a bigger situation affecting more people...that's going on nationwide and worldwide.... even the Michael Jackson case....i mean, dern - i know he's Mike J...the "King of Pop"....that celebrities get big attention, off the top - esPECially SUPER celebrities, such as this one... but DAG....i mean REALLY......the news networks STAY analyzing EVERY SINGLE INCH AND ASPECT of this man's life, personality, and background.... i mean, so you mean to tell me you can keep the world posted REGULARLY, almost 24-7/365...on the whereabouts, the habits, the choices, the lifestyle, the this, the THAT...about this one person... but you can't hardly report ANYthing on even the specuLATION...that there is PROOF....the one person who holds one of the HIGHEST positions in this country.....has lied and continues to lie to the people of this country and of the world....lies which have unnecessarily cost the lives of billions...lost life in the MASSES that could've been avoided??? i mean, really.... it's just loco.....outragious.... but anyway :grin:
