Do you think we should get reperations as a black society and if we were given the chance what would you do ?For example If you were given the option for a reparation of slavery, and the reparation was a trip back to Africa, would you take it? or would you stay in America?
I wouldn't want to go and live in Africa because my home is here. Hell, i don't even want to move to another state. But I would wanna visit. I rather them give us money.
They strip us off our culture and heritage, we should be getting something.
I'd have to have a good piece of money tho.
In some of the places over there US dollars are like 10 times as much as money over there so I could be a millionaire for real if I get a good **** job.
well i would say that even if this were to occur, it probably would not be a sufficient amount to do much with. Considering the fact that there may be alot of ppl to pay. How would the reperations be validated anyway?
i feel we should at least get an apology. japanese american families were given apologies and money for what happened during world war 2 with the internment camps and everything. not to invalidate their experiences but not knowing where i came from plus all the other drama slavery brought seems a tad bit worse. i would go to africa. i been thinking about joining the peace corps to go.

the US govt gave reps to some displaced **** who encountered racism during WW2...the us govt & eurpean govts gave reps to the jews (i love jews)...7 million ****...
at least 25 million blacks died crossing the sea from africa to america...at least 5,000 blacks were lynched here in america....and that's only the one's that were recorded in history...
not to mention we had the system set up against us up untilt he 60s so we couldn't better ourselves...
the govt is partaillly repsoncible for the condition that our race is in today...and that includes all the socialism and welfare...
if i ran things, ALL BLACKS would get a partial scholarship to the college that they get accepted into...get rid of affirmative action in schoolsc ect ect...just give us like a 25% scholarship...just for being balck and for the HELL that they put our ancestor's through...
