Words hurt...simple as that. I think its ignorant of others to think otherwise. Broken bones can heal just fine, but a broken heart and runied self esteem take years to repair depending on the extent and length of the ridicule that one may have experienced. And it takes a toll in every aspect of their life. People may not think they are really hurting someone by making fun of them and teasing, but you may not know what that person may be going thru or have gone thru in their life an how much making fun of someone really does affect them. Physically, emotionally, and mentality.
