Some Simple Truth

Talking with my parents in the car, I came to a revelation. I very seldom come to revelations. Godly couples dont have as many problems as others. Now, Ive been seeing alot of questions and comments on the mens and womans pages about situations concerning some really awful things... Good or bad, I think we forget to ask ourselves what our religion would dictate us to do. Mostly because I think we tend to deviate from our religion when it concerns our love lives, as if they dont have any real bearing on us. It makes life easier when two people believe in a merciful and great God. When two people can lean to his understanding and wisdom, they can live a fulfilled life through Him - not only in Joy but in happiness. Coming to the end of Proverbs 31, virtuosity in woman is described (to a womans son) and I believe men do a great disservice by dating loose women and that women do a great disservice by not following this example. Two people infused in their religions can find a way to make things work and, through the grace of God, help them become better people. I challenge everyone to read a Proverb a day. Nothin wrong with a little bit of church. - Tres

the best place to find "the best man" is always in church. Once you have JESUS than everything else will fall into place.

sad part is...just because u meet them in church doesn't mean that they're "Godly"...my last boyfriend went to church, was a PK like me, and was too busy tryin to "get some" from me...so I said forget it, cause I wasn't havin that lol. But true, once u have Jesus, everything does fall into place. That's happening for me now, slowly

people people, how can you expect good things to come if you aren't good to yourself? I'm talking spiritually good to yourself, help those who help themselves. Most people think that are in the right when most likely the are in the wrong. (Matthew 7:13-16) The bottom line is every problem you make in a relationship of any kind, could have been prevented. Most people think that because the bible was so long ago it can't help what is going on today, NO, WRONG!!! Please people if you take the time to read and understand you would see that it was written for every problem you may find yourself in. I done got off topic preaching sorry. The best way to find a "GOOD MAN" wait and watch. Love is a gift from God, and when it come you know, but you cannot be greedy for the gift, or it will be a wolf in sheep cloth. People should get to know each oter on a spirtual level before they advance to any other level. If that person does don't love GOD..... ten how can you expect him\her to love themself enough to love you???? :smt102 food for thought.

i think she was referring to Jesus as the "the best man" that u find in church. lol, but i get what u are sayin and i agree Tres, i think couples should make spirituality a bigger part of their relationship (if they both claim to be Christians that is). I would love to find a guy who i could take to church to me and we could worship together. If i start cryin, shoutin, or fallin out...he shouldn't be sittin there lookin at me like i just caught some kind of disease. We should also be able to pray together. I can't ever recall praying on the phone with a guy. If he was goin thru sumthin i would say "i'll pray for u", but never did we just take the time out to do it together. That probably explains why i'm single right now :???:
