Ladies have yall noticed that braids are really in lately. Micros, kinkies, cornrows, whatever! What's your favorite braided style?

the **** twists are cute. i have some cornrows in right now. i need to find that "homegirl" to start braiding my hair because gettin my hair braided aint cheap.

Braids have always been "In" down south to me, especially when it's about go get hott, girls start rockin the cornrows with the tyght designs..speakin of which I need to call my homegirl.lol Anyway, Cornrolls are my fav. I would try Micro's but my hair is too long for them :???: I really want some **** Twist tho, but as mentioned, them African's charge a arm and a leg. I wish I knew somebody that could hook those up for me.
Braids have never been " out " cause up north and dnwon south chicks still been rocking the kinkies, box, micros, rows, etc...I always get some fresh micros EVERY time I go back to school...lol...its almost like tradition now...I always get the straight weave cause I dont really care for wet and wavy...But I try to change up the colors each time...usually usin a lite brown, or maybe a mix of different shades of browns, or a reddish tone...But yea Ima get my micros at the end of the summer b4 I go back to FAM. And Im not really a big fan of the whole " homegirl doin my braids " thing. I know people who can braid but i will ALWAYS prefer going to the shop and dishin out the extra cash cause I dont like dealing with friends who recommend u to someone u know...sometimes you gotta chase them down, they wanna stop and eat, they may have kids and they gotta stop and beat they ****, etc...Ill pay my 120 and go to the Africans cause I know my ish will be done in 7 hours...as opposed to lil mama up the street who wanna stop and finish tomorrow cause her fingers hurt.

I like cornrows personally...they don't take as long as micros and they are easier to take out except the design part. I will be getting my cornrows very soon b/c this weather and my hair don't mix.

two-tones **** twists are my thing...
or the long **** two toned brown and light brown wet and wavy micro braids....i love those...but its hell takin them joints out
