A Relationship turned bad after turning Greek....

Yo at the end of this past semester, we had a lot of lines on campus cross. During this period I also noticed a lot relationships break up between neo Greeks and Non-Greeks. One of my bois from school just called me and told me he ended a 3-year relationship with his girl, who just crossed Delta. One of the reasons for the breakup was due to her spending less time with him and more time with her sisters.
Is it I, or do you all witness the samething on your campus?

The same thing happens all the time, every where.
The person gaining the greek affiliation has increased their personal circle of friends and influence.
This does not mean that they neglect the needs or wants of their partner but it changes the amount of time that is available because there is bonding and learning that must be done with their Frat/Sorors.
Patience and open communication is the key on the part of both people involved in the relationship.

It happens. It's just important for both parties to be understanding. I don't shut them out, or exclude them altogether. But they are also aware that my time isn't as flexible as it once was. I still accomodate them when i can, but they aren't selfish enough to end a friendship just becuz i can't hang with them like i used to. If the bond was real before greekdom, it shall remain that way.

i agree communication is key
but i can see how it's not fair to non greeks
