Hi everyone.
I need some advice. My current boyfriend is an omega and so is my brother (he has grad. but his brothers are still there) . (I also hope to join an org. also) So i find myself always with the omegas on campus. :o The problem is a friend of mine told me that my being with them makes me look like a groupie. So of course that's not the way I want to appear :sad: even if I didn't want to join a org. I mention it to my bf and he thinks I'm over reactin'. AM I?????????? AND HE HAD TO NERVE TO GET MAD!!!

Well me I personally believe it shouldnt matter what other people think or how they see you as. But, I know the feeling my brother is an Alpha and I used to hang with them ALL the time cause we're tight like that. And some people had negative things to say like "Oh we know what org she's gonna pledge next year" or " I guess they finna have their Alpha Angel line this semester" but I've never heard them say groupie tho. As for over reacting........I dont you u are, u're just concerned with something that u have NO control over. Even if u didnt hang with my Frat they'd prolly think something about you. Thas just apart of life no matter what u do someone is gonna hate. They are gonna say things and think things. U just have to be happy with u and keep it movin cause in the end YOU are what matters not the people and what they think OR how they see you.

MAjor-D is correct, People will think what they want to think, regardless of what you do, who you are with.
No matter who you hang with, the KEY is "How you carry/cunduct yourself around then".
Put it like this, if yo uhad a twin sister and she was a Delta, and you hung with her, but wanted to pledge something else, people will have something to say.
I know how Ques are and the image that girls get when hanging around them, but you have a valid reason----ya boyfriend's a que. nuff said.
The bottom line is how you conduct yourself in the public's eye.
