I'm straight with it, for the most part. And for the fact of it being a party school, it's all about what you let yourself be involved in.

Norfolk State has really prospered over the last few years! The academics are getting a better reputation and more alumni are contributing to the school. As far as a party school goes, it's up to you what to make of your college experience. If you want to party all night long, then that can happen at NSU, Benedict, Cheyney or wherever. It's up to you. Just keep your priorities straight. ^^^Or at least that's what my parents say....I'm only a senior in high school, but I hope I helped a little bit! Much love

OMFG NSU is soooooooo not a party school. Most people say that because of the sweatbox mess, but they don't have them like that. Now I will say that yea All City may have parties frequently on Saturday, but most if not all of those are in Hampton. As for academics, it depends on what program you are trying to be in. I say still apply, but keep your options open also. Don't base your opinion on the opinion of someone who isn't even at the school.

Well as a norfolk native I would have to agree that norfolk state isnt a party school , but norfolk definately is a party city. .. Every Saturday night Club Picasso's, Aqua Lounge, Pepperment Reggeaton Club, The Sweat Box and a few others... As far as football, Norfolk State is on the upswing ... Best MEAC record ever in thier school history last year, and a superb recuiting class this year. .. Greek life **** hands down no contest ... The Q's program was suspended from the school for at least another 4 years... Academically they arent as sub par as they used to be however they are no internationally dejected program ... All-in-all i'd never attend, but for any more info on Norfolk let me kno... P.S. That neighborhood across the street from the school is called Huntersville. ... yea, you might wanna stay out of there.
