ATTENTION HAMPTONIANS Re: The Force

Hey I'm Melissa (I'm not new I just don't post that often). I'll be attending Hampton this fall. I was just curious about Hampton's marching band, The Force. If there are any members or any Hamptonians that know about the band, tell me a little something about the band program. What's the practices like, just what ever...

The force is the greatest experience i have ever encountered. I am a band manager in the force. Now the practices are from 5p-8:30p mon-fri. U practice altogether first and then break out into sections or learn the choreographed dance. Not only do we sound good but we bond hard. The force is a family. Ur section (ie trumpets, sax, etc.) becomes ur immediate family, and the rest is extended family. i don't know what i would have done if i had not been with the band.

Of Course Del State's band is always better....lol. :wink:@My band fam@Hampton.

are the practices hard like running stadiums like in Drum Line we run stadiums and those things are so hard and we barely do enough Natalie
