Why do females hold grudges?

I'm not a perfect person by a long shot. I realize this, and I don't expect anyone I talk to.....whether it be on a friendship level, or deeper, to be perfect, either. I've been done wrong in a lot of ways during my lifetime, but I am a very forgiving person, and am willing to give second, sometimes even third chances. But as of late, I have noticed that the females of this day and age are not very forgiving at all. A lot of females go by the "one strike, you're out" type deal. It's almost as if females nowadays demand perfection and flawlessness out of the males that they deal with. So females, I ask you, why is it that some of you find it so hard to give second chances, or even worse, hold grudges and not even be willing to hold a conversation with a person after only one mistake?

thank u Dame  And to say that females are not "forgiving" is also a stretch. Becuz i actually see it the other way around. Countless females stick with their man after being cheated on countless times, treated badly, and even abused. Half of the time, all a man needs to say is "I'm sorry. I love you baby" and a woman will start boohooing and take his behind back with a quickness. I've known more men who have bounced with even just the assumption that their woman was cheating (even if they're guilty of cheating themselves). And then there are some men who will stick by their woman. It is different from person to person.

Nice to see YOU chimin' in, ole stranger you!  But urruhh, yeah. Since we ALL want what's bad for us (when it comes to relationships), a lot of us end up NOT holding grudges until the ****hits the fan.

damn... i couldnt have said it myself. men are less forgiving than women.. and if you run into a woman who doesnt forgive you for something you did, its probally because they have forgiven someone before for the same thing over and over again, and you may fall into that catergory where they dont want to forgive anymore

Grudges make you emotionally even physically sick. I find that when you hold a grudge, it's usually something wrong with yourself.
