The one saying that they are going to give your application an additional evaluation after Feb 1. because they want you to send in more grades....Im guessing that I just didnt get in on early action and they're throwing my application back in for regular decision...I kind of feel like just going to Hampton...but I guess they wanna see if you're going to wait it out.

Hey lovely Spelman prospects...good luck in it all...
Advice after getting "the letter..." Contact the office of admissions. I got the same letter last year...and it was a mistake
They sent me the wrong one! I was depressed for two weeks until I contacted the office and they told me that they had sent me the wrong letter, and that I had been admitted. Admissions office is human...they make mistakes.
Even if not the case, I advise that you send a letter to the admissions office outlining the accomplishments you have made since you turned in your application. Any new groups, new leadership positions, new community service projects, new grades, new test scores -- ANYTHING that you think will reflect favorably upon you. I did so and the office told me they were very impressed with my approach.
Once again, good luck ladies! Hope to see you at NSO 2006!
