Jay Dee recently released an all instrumental album titled "Donuts" on indie hip-hop label Stones Throw. Jay Dee passed around 8:00 this morning at his home in California of a bone marrow disease. James (J-Dilla) Yancey will forever be remembered as one of the greatest producers in Hip-Hop. He did a GRIP of tracks that we've heard that are dope....Tribe Called Quest's "Find a way", Slum Village "Tainted", Pharcyde "Passin me by", Common's intro and like 8 other songs on "Like water for chocolate" along with The Light.
Now see, we might have been able to save this brother's life. :sad:

If you aren't already registered, get registered - you could save a life.
In the past couple of years we've lost Dilla as well as Nelly's sister Jackie to diseases a bone marrow transplant could have saved them from.
