**** Im saying we werent BESt friends but we was tight and she died the night before last in the hospital beaten to death by her boyfriend her name (anonymous) she was 18 and was going to be a freshmen at Norfolk State university her boyfriend turned hisself in and admit to beating on her more than twenty times at the least!
i said its never right for man to hit a woman but my boy Derrick was like "if she hit me and I dont like her she gone get hit back I dont care" its funny cuz his girlfriend agreed and her friend who is a female did too "its wrong she died but he had to be beaten on her for a reason" wtf?
THERE IS NEVER NO REASON FOR NO MAN TO HIT A FEMALE

IMO, its never okay for a man to hit a woman. Now, there are situations where some women hit men and that's not right either. Real men don't hit women, regardless of the situation. That's just my opinion. But women need to learn to stand up for themselves as well. Shyt, a man can only do what you ALLOW him to.

I definitely agree with you on the fact that its wrong to hit women, and especially to beat not just a woman, but anyone to death, its not too many things that warrant that. I do however feel there can be a reason to hit anyone. Male or female you have no business putting your hands on someone , especially if they haven't put theirs on you. That being said male or female, if you catch it back, then you might get what you deserve. But to do that to some one, thats just wrong...

I understand what ur saying as well, but by reading what you wrote, it seemed as he'd beat her REPEATEDLY before this incident. If that's the case then, she ALLOWED him to continue. After the first time he'd laid a finger on her, she should have left. I know that its not easy to leave someone you love, but you gotta think about your safety and your life. By no means am I saying that she brought this on herself, cuz no one deserves to die like that, but damn 20 times??? When I said that some women allow their men to beat on them, I meant when its a situation where its an ongoing thing. If a man beats yo **** once and you do nothing, that's an open invitation for him to do it again, becuz he knows that you ARE NOT going to do a damn thing about it. Women(and some men) have to stop letting others get away with whooping their ****. If this had been a one time thing and she HAD NO IDEA of what he would do or what he was capable of, I would probably take it another way. As in she had no chance of survival or that she couldn't help the situation, but she should have gotten out while she had the chance. Like I said before, I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT SHE DESERVED TO DIE, BECUZ SHE DIDN'T, but all I'm saying is that ppl need to take heed when things like this happen. Look at this tragedy as an example of what a slap here or a punch there can escalate to.
