Robinson's Body to Lie in State Capitol Rotunda

Even as a Jaguar, I can not deny the impact that Coach Rob has had on all phases of African American Life. His motto was "One School, One Job, One Woman" and he truly lived up to his words, letting his actions speak for him. We have lost not only a legend and coach, we lost a great man, whose work shaped the lives of thousands of people, broke down stereotypes of millions of African Americans, and legacy that will continue to influence billions worldwide. Coach Rob, we will sorely miss you and we hope to see you again someday in glory.

As an alumnus of Tennessee State University and former HS football player, I highly respect Coach Robinson. I am very inspired and touched by his motto,”One School, One Job, and One Woman”. He was truly a man of character, loyalty, and integrity. We will miss you and may your legacy live on.
