I attend a pwi, and I'm in the Mechanical Engineering Program. I want to transfer to an hbcu next year. I'm looking at howard U, but are there any other hbcus with good engineering programs? And while we're at it, how is Howard's program?

Before considering a school to transfer to, you might want to evaluate the reason WHY you are transfering in the first place. Your next school could possibly have those exact same issues/problems and you would be right back at square one. But in the meantime, here is a link to Howard University's College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Science: College of Engineering, Architecture & Computer Science - Howard University

I know the process of selecting a university is difficult. However, it is well worth the time and commitment to make the right choice. The knowledge gained will influence your life, personally and professionally. Personally, I recommend Tennessee State University, academically and socially. TSU engineering program is focused on graduating quality and not quantity. Therefore, it will be challenging and intense, but you will gain knowledge and skills. The College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science offers degrees at the undergraduate, masters, and PhD level. I hope you decide to continue your matriculation at Tennessee State University. For more information, use the links below. Good Luck!
