What do you think about this: http://www.dayinblackhistory.com/showpoll4.aspx Sorry but IMHO, it kind of dilutes--or even taints--the purposes of NAACP.

Man, the NAACP is a joke these days as they pick and choose their battles. The Atlanta chapter shot themselves in the foot not long after Vick pleaded guilty by saying he was "not guilty" and that he was "set up." What kind of crap is that?

I respect them for trying to keep Vick's reputation afloat with their "set up" propraganda but at the same time I wish they had gone another route. No matter what a person may say, they are guilty or not guilty. Point blank. It was way to early for them to pick a stance. They should have let some more evidence come to light before making themselves look like idiots. They know more than any of us that as an organization, they represent us. As such, they know that when they do something stupid, it makes us all look stupid to some extent. Instead of covering up his mistake, right now they should be aiding him in his effort to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the public. Make us believe that Michael Vick is an admirable man not a coward who hides behind lies. Then again what do I know. After they found the bodies on the property, I still thought ol' boy was innocent.
