ok so I applied undecided to howard,if i get accepted........ how do I go about getting into the school of business? Am I able to jus declare my intended major(finance) or do I have to wait a few semesters and transfer? How hard is this to do? thanks.......

You applied undecided which means that if you are accepted you will be placed in the College of Arts and Sciences. In order to transfer to the school of Business you will need a 2.5 GPA. So you will probably be able to transfer second semester of your freshmen year at the earliest. Also, I believe the school of Business will evaluate your transcripts before you are admitted to that school.

at the time I wasnt really sure what I wanted to do, but now i am pretty sure i want to be involved in business, and i new it was harder to get accepted into the business program as opposed to arts and sciences

Oh, I see. That was a good idea. I want to go to Howard too (I'm a sophmore in Hgih School). Hey... I know it's not my business or anything. But I need to know my chances of getting in.. What was your GPA? How many extra curricular activities did you have? What did you get on the SAT/ACT? .. Thanks for the help, -Kerri

I did the same exact thing I applied early action undecided but then I called and I changed it all I did was send a fax to Ms Minor telling her that I wanted to change my intended school to the School of business and it was done. Just make sure you qualify but I dont know how you would go about it if you did it after early action I guess you can do it since the notifications are later on but if it was early action idk. GOOD LUCK Thumbup

P.S call undergrad admissions and tell them and ask what you can do....in regards to your original question.
