In the spring, the sorority I am interested in is coming out with a line. For the past year, I have been saying that I am going to make it no matter what, just to keep my head straight. But if something happens and i dont make it, is it worth it to try again my senior year? music is life..... FAAAAAMMMM-GOT-DAAAAAAM UU!!!!

That's a question that only you can answer. Some will tell you yes, some will tell you no. If you really want it now, what would make you not want it the next year? Because you'll be a senior?

Won't be able to do anything b/c of your course load as a senior? Or because you'll only have a few months as an undergrad? I say go for it if you want it, and don't worry about the "possibilities". Turn those "possibles" into books. (For my spades players :yes aka Make it happen.

This is funny... I think I know which sorority you're trying to join (including chapter... To answer you're question, if it's worth it to you, then it's worth it to try again.... Membership in ANY BGLO is a lifetime committment, so why would it stop after this year (if you make it or not). Meaning, if you're REALLY interested in the goals and ideas of that Sorority, then why would you quit trying if you don't make it the first time? I know for a fact that your school does have a cap on how many members can cross any greek letter org on campus, so that also factors in and makes the dynamics of actually making it more competitive. Bottom line, if you're only interested for Spring 09, then you probably shouldn't apply the first go round... If you're interested in the life long committment to which ever sorority, then go for it.

So..... are you assuming that your committment to the Sorority will end after graduation?
