Could a person take the PSAT both their sophomore and junior years of high school?

Can I qualify for the National Merit Scholarship my sophomore year, or can I only get it my junior year?

Hey. I'm Ashley and I'm a 2008 National Achievement Finalist. To answer some of you alls questions. You can take the the PSAT any year of highschool. BUT you can only qualify to become an Achievement or Merit Semi-Finalist your Junior year. PLEASE take this test seriously...Because of my performance I was awarded a full ride to Howard University.

I took the PSAT it definitely helped me get prepared for the SAT so if your a rising junior definitely take it
