Just a word or two about myself. I am a graduate of the fantabulous Voorhees College in Denmark, SC. I now live in Charleston, SC and employed as an educator. The HBCUconnect site is very interesting and relevant to me, and I'm excited to be here.

Hey C_Nels My name is Christine. I heard some good things lately about Claflin. I heard that it once again rated as a top school in the nation for its value. I can't remember the magazine, but it was a well-respected magazine. Well, as for Voorhees, there's always hope.

What's happnin Christine! What year did you graduate from VC? The magazine was probably either US News & World Report or Forbes.

Eons ago. I graduated in 1978. I still travel back often for homecoming and such.
