Wassup grown folk! Some people say they're grown when they turn 18. Some say they're grown when they turn 21. Some people are "grown" due to circumstances. Then there are some people that are never grown, case in point, Michael Jackson! But for real, fill in the blanks... I knew I was grown when ________ and I was __ years old at the time!

I knew I was grown when I was broke, living on my own, forced to find a job and my parents would NOT give me any money. Did I mention I was broke? HELLA broke as a matter of fact. I was 21 years old at the time.

I knew I was grown, when I moved into an apartment with roommates and we had only enough money to pay the rent... we went a few weeks without eating, just drinking water, I was 20 years old at the time.
