When Has A Non-Member Overstepped Their Boundaries

I know I am quite knowledgable about black greek organizations (among other things). But when do you think a non-member has overstepped their boundaries. I've been to a web site that was composed of mainly west coast greeks and I know that many of the comments stated by non-members in this forum wouldn't fly over their (mine included). I just wanted to know, aside from perping, when do you think a non-greek has overstepped the boundaries?
my sister said this one girl's friends were greeks and i guess she didnt know or something and then when they started doing their stroll through some party, she got on the back and started doing it to....

When you touch a cane.
OH MY LORD!
My Freshman year I was chillin' with my RA on the strip and his line brother came up to him and started talking. Since I was a Freshman and didn't know anything about Greek orgs outside of Kappa Alpha Psi (They gave me a scholarship)
I didn't know that it was a cardinal sin to touch the cane. So I picked up my RA's LB's cane.
He didn't snap or anything, but he basically let me off easy cuz I was a Freshman and didn't know any better. But from then on I learned that you are basically taking your life into your own hands but touching a cane.

^^^ I got a Morehouse cane story.
My friend's ex BF had a friend who was either interested in KAPsi or was pledging...but anywho dude was trying to learn how to twirl or something and word leaked out some how that a freshman had a cane...blah blah blah to make a long story short he was like his friend asked him if he could hide the cane in his room being that the friend was really interested and if caught with it his chances were probably shot. Anyway...somehow the Kappas bumrushed dorm rooms lookin for the cane (I guess the RA or something was a member) and found the can in MY friends room...so he ended up taking the slack (basically a little intimidating words) so that his friend wouldn't get found with it and basically have no chance of thinking about becoming a member.

I want to know some greek fam etiquette, but LITERALLY, i know nothing concerning this whole thing.
