What kind of aid did everyone get from Hampton? Especially out of state students with average grades and test scores? I just want to know what I should expect...trying to weigh out my options here

My mom talked to this one lady about how much financial aid was gonna cover for a freshman... the lady was real blunt and said, "F.A. is NOT gonna cover a lot for a freshman." I think its f*cked up that its taking them 4ever to process some and the money won't be available for them, cuz its taking so long. F*ck none being available, they better go find some.

nope not yet...they're on my list of calls to make tommorrow...but I think it's messed up that I gotta wait 5 more weeks to get financial aid...they said 6 weeks from when you get your acceptance letter...but I gotta decide if I'm gonna pay the deposit or not...I got until Friday to decide about that...meanwhile I'm calling Hampton tommorrow about my deposit, financial aid, etc...

Just to shed some light. I applied to Hampton very early (like December) and I didn't get my financial aid info until like July. Hampton is a little bit slow being that there are so many students and so few Financial Aid counselors. Just remember the later you send in Deposits the later you will get your stuff. Hampton will teach you to be on time...TRUST!
