Working non-commision ****

Seriously, anybody that has ever worked any sort of Retail Store knows what I mean. I *currently* work at Best Buy in their Computer Department. So I basically have to sell $1000++ machines to customers everyday. It ain't like I work in some upscale rich neighborhood. Folx around here are pretty much middle-class folx. The shyt, that pisses me off is the fact that I'm a DAMN good salesman. In addition to your computer that is $800, I STILL have to convince you why you need a $199.99 service plan on your computer, and WHY you need the more expensive Gold printer cable instead of the silver one. Yesterday I had a sale that came up to $1,910. Then right after that I had a sale that was $1,699. I basically made Best Buy over $36,000, and probably $300-$500 in profit. How much did I make off each sale??? $9.00/hr. This ****is ridiculous. I gotta find me a betta hustle, I might see if Chippendales is hiring.

I feel ya..I thought working at Best Buy would be a upgrade over working at Finishline..I guess not.. I hate upsaleing..That sh*t pisses me off. I hate trying to convince a old lady to buy one of our 19.99 in soles for her shoes when they really don't feel that much better than the ones that come with the damn shoe..I hate trying to force people into buying headbands, jerseys, white tee's and shoe laces to go with the shoes that they bought.. We just got in these expensive socks..I mean they are 14.99 for one pair..but when I tried them on they felt like a regular sock..Now we have to explain to the customer on why they need to buy this sock... hey, I think I'm going to quit my job and be a server at a resturant..They get paid a lot of money in tips if the resturant is popular..My brother makes $200 every Friday and Saturday night!!!

I got NO problem with Upselling, cuz I'm DAMN good at it. "You can go with this $59.99 printer, but since you told me that you have a digital camera, then I RECOMMEND going for this All-in-One Printer that has GREAT quality printing for your photos. Take a look at these pictures." *shows two pictures that came from a DIFFERENT printer* "You can tell right here how the quality of the photo depends on what type of paper you use. I RECOMMEND going fo the Kodak Photo paper, it has a $5 mail-in rebate." Customer: "Wow, that's great. How much does the printer cost?" Me: "$99" customer: "Well......" *looks at the photos and my charming smile* "ok, I'll take it" CHING! The ****tha pisses me off is the fact that I'm not gettin' paid for my skillz. Cheap bastids!!!!
