Take it to the greek forum  But back on topic.
I've been around black people from birth through college. I think its time to get to learn how to deal with people of other races. I've been exposed a little bit but not as much as I would like. So my top choices for Grad Schools are all PWI's...ooooooooooooohhhhh lawd its gonna be a big change for me.

^^Yes lawd, it is! I have had my taste of the PWI life during this test prep course I took last semester at a PWI and I'm not too fond of it, but hey, we do what we have to do. I'm used to people saying hello, opening doors for other folks and just being at least cordial but I did not get that during my course, it's like they didn't acknowledge that we were even there and they thought we didn't know shyt.
Currently, I'm at a summer program but it's mostly hispanic and black students and a few whites. Anyways, there is this Asian dude that I was real cool with but he has problems sayin ****about "****" around me and I tried to talk to him to let him know what was up, but evidently he didn't understand me the first time cuz he slipped up the other day talkin about "black folks don't like lightning" after he had already slipped up earlier that day with something else... being the smart **** that I am I was like "naw, we don't like boats, we don't like large bodies of water, we don't like cotton, we don't like white sheets, we don't like big trucks, we damn showl don't like rope and we don't like trees either!" he just sat there lookin stupid and I had proved my point...
Aight, I kinda got off on a tangent but um yeah, I think I may attend a PWI because I'm currently applying to medical school and there aren't any HBCU medical schools in TX where I want to go to school, but Howard and Meharry are on my wildcard list. Anyways, the good thing about graduate school (depending on what program you're entering) is that you can get a LOT of money, so that's always a perk!
Good luck to everyone that is taking the GRE, DAT, MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, and any other test that you need..

See that's the thing. The reason I chose to go to an HBCU was because all my life I'd been in diverse schools where blacks were the smallest % of students. I loved my HBCU experience but I aint gonna lie; I think these employers give more consideration to those who went to PWIs than those who went to HBCUs. I am considering Georgia State, University of South Florida, and Univerisity of Miami for grad school.
